Landgasthof.Krauß.

intro.

In the year 1895, the great-grandfather of today's owner bought this house. It was operated as a hotel with butcher's shop and farm until 1961. main inside dining room In 1945, immediately before the end of the World War II, the restaurant operator and butcher at that time, Hermann Krauss, prevented the bombardment and the destruction of the village by the American troops by a bribe of the "last defenders" with a sausage package. In 1961, the hotel was expropriated under the leadership of the former Communist dictatorship in Eastern Germany. After the fall of the wall, retransfer of ownership was requested, and in 1995, extensive restoration and expansion measures had been started. Since the reopening in December 1996, we strive towards a good cuisine and an attentive operation just like the establishment of a cosy atmosphere.
